Omgeving - Aramon, Overige

Avignon is a fascinating city in the middle of Provence and this lovely home is found in Aramon, just outside the city. The city has a beautiful historical centre and all the amenities needed including a variety of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The town boasts the Pope’s Palace, the Rhone River, great shopping and several art and history museums.

In addition, golfers will be pleased to know that Golf d'Avignon lies at 30 kilometres.

The coast is about 100 kilometres from the house, and slightly further is Montpellier, with its modern restaurants and museums. Within easy driving distance, you will find Nimes, Arles, Pont du Gard, and Orange. You can also take part in the area’s activities which include wine tasting, fishing, hiking, and swimming.

Bustling Marseille, about an hour and a half away, is a must-see with its old port and ancient cathedrals. Don’t miss the city’s music festival if you are in the area at the end of June.
